They were Carrots!

Yep, it's been confirmed. I have carrots growing alongside the grape tomatoes. I didn't "weed" them all! Yea! Now to see if they grow into carrots.

I have some little itty bitty very green pear tomatoes. The beans, peppers, large tomatoes, and cukes are in blossom. The watermelon plants don't look like they are growing well. The corn is still small. The kohlrabi, zucchini, leeks and lettuce are doing well. imho.

The kittens are absolutely adorable, but since i didn't "plant" them i can only admire them from afar.

Christina,

Thank you for your very thoughtful post re. our German Shepherd.

He is actually doing very well right now but I don't know why - but I'm thankful! :)

As far as his vision, that is good/OK. I thought that might be an issue too. I'll have to look into some of the other ideas.

My vet said he has seen this in Border Collies, German Shepherds & just generally the Herding Breeds. It's new to me too, though.

I am presently surrounded by sweet dogs - I have my two at our house today, as well as a Standard Poodle puppy & a Bichon Frise.

Hugs! :)
